Our House
Parisian technique, Los Angeles light
Jolie Couture Paris began with a pattern book carried from a Left Bank atelier to a studio in the Los Angeles Fashion District. We make formalwear the old way — boning, hand-beading, real linings — for a city that wears it differently.

The Making
Small runs, finished by hand
Every style is cut in runs of fifty or fewer. Bodices are boned and lined before a single sequin is set, and each gown is pressed and inspected in Los Angeles before it ships. When a style sells through, it is usually gone — we would rather retire a gown than dilute it.
Our extended sizing is designed on curve fit models from the first sketch, not graded up at the end. It is the same fabric, the same beadwork, the same finishing.
